Citizens of 109 states can obtain e-visas for business, tourist or medical treatment purposes.
E-Visas
Foreigners can enter/leave the territory of/from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan using a valid e-visa only at checkpoints of the international airports of Astana and Almaty. Tourist e-visas are issued to citizens of 109 states, business and for treatment. The list of countries is attached.
An single-entry e-visa is issued on the basis of a valid invitation from inviting party in Kazakhstan, documents for invitation should be submitted to Migration Authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the prescribed manner. After approval of invitation by State Bodies, following procedures should be completed.
E-visa obtaining algorithm
- Register on the Visa-Migration portal (www.vmp.gov.kz);
- After registration, please see the requirements for obtaining e-visa;
- Enter an invitation number (the invitation number is sent by the inviting party in the RK) and fill in the visa application form;
- Payment of the consular fee;
- Print e-visa (the visa is formed in the personal account and sent to the email address provided when filling out the application form);
- A printed e-visa is presented when passing through passport control at international airports in Nur-Sultan and Almaty.
