AIFC Expat Centre and «Astana Invest» City Development Center for Investment signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation regarding sustainable development of the investment climate.

Document envisages the strengthening cooperation to create favourable environment for doing business and investors, and also the mutual promotion at the regional and international level to attract foreign investments. 

The main aspects of cooperation between parties as enhancing investment attractiveness as well as joint activities with investors in the development of tourism, education and public-private partnerships were outlined.

The unprecedented international environment, infrastructure and legal framework were established to provide value and attractiveness to the AIFC as a center for placement of the regional headquarters of the world's largest companies. For the convenience of participants, a digital platform for e-registration of companies was launched.

AIFC provides local and foreign investors with the most advanced, secure and effective investments for structuring projects and project financing in accordance with the best international practice, that will facilitate the projects’ further development and presence at the foreign markets.

Moreover, AIFC Court, International arbitration centre as well as well-recognised globally alternative dispute resolution services are available for everyone regardless of the participant status or types of contracts via eJustice portal. All judgments and arbitration awards were successfully enforced to 100% satisfaction. That builds a confidence of the investment community in the region.

Astana Invest provides full assistance to the development of our capital Nur-Sultan city by attracting investments in priority sectors of the economy, accompanies investors in obtaining government services, as well as advises on the possibilities of using state support instruments for investment.

The established cooperation between AIFC Expat Centre and Astana Invest will also contribute to the development of business tourism in Kazakhstan and the strengthening the image of the Nur-Sultan city as investment-attractive cosmopolitan city.
