Dear clients, 

Starting from January 2024, compulsory dactyloscopic registration (fingerprints) will be subject to foreign nationals (aged over 16) when applying for the following services: 

• Temporary or Permanent Residence Permit in the Republic of Kazakhstan; 
• Residence Permit in the Republic of Kazakhstan; 
• Visas of the Republic of Kazakhstan; 
• Status of an asylum seeker, applying to receive a refugee certificate and (or) travel document for the first time or for their restoration or replacement and other cases. 

Dactyloscopic registration (fingerprints) is one visit procedure and carried out by the Migration Authorities at the Police Department based on place of registration within the country.  

In this regard AIFC Participants should visit the Migration Unit of Astana Police Department for passing the procedure and getting a certificate.    

The certificate should be submitted along with the document package on visa or TRP services to the Expat Centre.
